unless the shooter is left handed, which then posses another question why is the bolt handle
on the RHS?
right hand works the bolt and left loads the round = faster

yeah ok but what is the shooters primary eye (aiming eye) L or R, if its right then he will take aim on the
left side of the gun but may get hit in the face with hot brass! "ya follow"

the 80's
So it is 20 to 30 YEAR since you have been to a range shoot?

Things have changed a little since then!

I have a right bolt left port centre fire and I have never been hit in the face with an empty case!
I don't think they would design them to eject into your face

Sorry Bec, I thought it was your first Nationals, that would make you a novice in my books regardless of the scores you can shoot on you home range week in week out. I have competed at national level for 2 years now even have a second to my name, but still consider myself a Novice, lots to learn and I need to find a way to control the nerves.

I have not seen A Stolle yet that has whats required to win at nationals, I thought maybe he has seen the error of his ways, as I have, and is trying to make up for it with more expansive gear.

Come on Chris, spill the beans.
