Al,

Don't hold your breath waiting for a Viper to come on the market here...Ive been after one for over 12 months...there are people bringing them in but wont sell you one unless you get them to build the whole thing...try Dave Kerr in WA...he will probably bring one in for you....he's probably in Sydney for the nationals for the next week so try him later next week.

hi steve what about second hand rifles instead of just actions
after the nationals there might be some for sale

Al,

I will be at the nationals tomorrow....will have a look around and see what's about...will also ask some of the gunsmiths if it's possible for them to get some in incase Stiller dicks you around,

Well actually, a drop port Viper (close to brand new) rifle with a new barrel and all the bits was sold for about $3200 at the Nats. I didn't see the sign until after it was sold.

It was a Cobra with a re-chambered barrel....still a good buy...hope Barry enjoys it...might be a Bat on the market if he does.

Albow,

My brother paid about $1500 for his Viper action when he had his rifle built a couple of years ago.
