AI,
trevort,
Stock came with the action.
Col. Pogy,
I am working on a new project already 6mm BR, 6 x 45, 6 x 47 or 243AI
on a Lawton action maybe and am also looking for an XR100 Rem in 22.250.
cheers

Yes mate its a bit of an allrounder the 308 .. I will use it in Fly and 1000 yd as a Light Gun, F Class Standard and Open, 600 Metre Light Gun and it will qualify for Heavy Varmit in Short Range Benchrest.I think that you might be going to try your hand at F Class Standard.. maybe..... or if for Fly, with a 1:13, you will be trying the Lapua Scenar 155's with the high BC....

The 6X44 sounds interesting... also a long necked dasher using the 6.5X47L brass. I have emailed a fellow about the 6X44, and he said he had given it away due to the large amount of work forming it from 243 brass. With the 6.5X47L brass, it will make it a lot easier!
308W.... I wonder how it would perform over 500M using 30cal benchrest bullets that are used for the 30BR.. around the 118grain mark!
Cheers

Purc,
Heavy varmint eh....might send you the rules...look under rests and guiding means if you have the book...Bob from Mackay thinks his stock conforms but if a protest was put in he'd get a big shock...so dont beat us or you're gonner.
Nice rifle is that the f.class Panda? you must be puttin in some overtime....when will you get time to shoot ?

steven,
I disagree mate, that rifle will not return to battery in line with optical adjustment. The stock is basically no different to the McMillan on the 6 PPC in design at the fore end.
I will use a rail sled for Fly and 1000yd mostly to add weight to 17lbs but that will not be attached when shooting BR.
cheers
