Re: what is the best Stocks
Mate I have two of the Boyds JRS now. They are cheap and their service is fantastic. The only complaint I have is the finishing of them. I have found that I can see the file marks on the wood work but only if I look very closely. It's not bad enough to make me strip and smooth the finish, but it is there. For less than $140us though, they are the best value for money stock.
I've never owned a Wild Dog stock, but they get very good rep's off the people that do. Personally they seem a little on the expensive side. You could also look at the Bell and Carlson gold medalist series. They make reasonably priced stocks that are strong and well designed.
