browning .22lr stock repair

update : stock has been lightly steel wooled and sanded , filed slots for easy acces to safety,dints have been seaemed out and one of the cracks hace been araldited.

i have done some final sanding/ fine steel wool, all the cracks have been fixed and i am ready to put a finish on the stock. i am going to use tru oil as i have some left over from my last job and it worked well.

Mate looking tops! Have seen epoxy used on another stock for a 308 bodge job stock was real bad worse than yours and it lived up to a season of fclass That was Marine epoxy not araldite, would think yours will be fine on the 22. Looks like fun!

from looking at it when i got it i never thouht it would turn out this good
yes i am getting it reblued and repaired( not feeding from mag, and slide wont stay forward while cocked) along with a trigger job and tidy up of the crown.
this rifle means alot to me and i am willing to spend what it takes to get it fixed.
