Because first i am going to get a 204, and one day if i ever changed, i wouldnt mind a 223, so why not make a 223AI.

Or another wildcat, long time away anyway.

Parabellum are the official berger importers.
The list of retailers are on their web site.

http://www.parabellumimports.com.au
http://www.viccityarms.com.au/

If you contact victorian arms they might still have some from the last shipment or tell you of a dealer near you who recently recieved stock.

Cheers

well anything a 223 is DESIGNED to kill will killed equally effectively by a 204 but you can just do it further away without compensating for drop. But bigger things need bigger calibres :hunting:

We know, just saying a 223 or 223 AI next is a WFT unless you want to shoot F Class

Or unless you dont want to reload. Dont get me wrong, the 223 does the job, but for a dedicated varmint rifle... the 204's do real well. The only reason I would get a 223 would be for f class like trev said.

I have one of those! It is used to cull bigger creatures than I feel the 204 should handle.

You will want to shoot bigger stuff one day. Yeah, we have read reports of 204s shooting camels on AHN and seen the dead pigs in the shooter mags but that is not what a 204 is designed for. When you wanna kill bigger things like goats etc start at a 243 in a carry weight rifle and if Sambar deer are on the menu forget the 243, start at 270 for a legal deer rifle.

Your 22 for fun, your heavy 204 varmint rifle and a walkabout hunting/stalking rifle will have the basis of a very nice little collection!

Its all fun this gun talk isnt it!

Yeah i am getting two rimfires, cheap .22 lithgow and undecided on the other, 7mm rem mag but still not 100% on that for deer/pigs, all that, 204 and any future projects well i havent got planned yet but would be nice to get a light weight walkabout rifle, or a 243 and run a quick load or a heavy load depending on what is in store for the day.

Who knows, still undecided on a few things.

Thanks
