I was just wondering can you use range finders as binoculars or monoculars just as easily as normal binoculars or monoculars?

Yes.....
Leica Geovids for one... but ranging capablities limited for over 1000yds in field.....
Monocular style RF... using it for spotting no way.....
ULTIMATE.... Vector IV.. apparently great glass, unbelievable ranging capabiltes.... but also absolute amzing price... from memory $10000US.....
Vector IV is on my wish list.....
