Not sure If you my question was not clear enough.. My Varmint .223 rifle is used for rbbits and fox's etc. But on the occasion that a pig or goat is seen, I can throw a Game King in and know ive got a good chance of dropping it with a 100m well placed shot.. I was wondering if the .20 Prac will do the same.. Which it seems that Brad thinks it will so thanks.. If im going pig or goat chasing to begin I would take a bigger gun!

Brad, Can my RCBS Dies be converted easily?

Your question was clear mate but can you get game bullets for a .20 cal? I would have thought that a .20 cal would be a varminting only calibre and therefor only bullets designed for explosive expansion and not penetration. Maybe using a target round would give some penetration. More of a bullet thing than the rifle. That's why I was concerned about bullets splashing on the tough skin of a pig.

You can get 45gr soft points but I dont know if they are built for varmints or for tougher skinned things. I would guess that it would be varmints though. I would usually take the 22BRX with its 69gr HPBT bullets out for bigger things than foxes, cats and rabbits. I think the 223 would be minimum I would want to continually shoot pigs/goats with and the gamekings would be bullet of choice. The 204 and 20 prac.... maybe a better choice for small furry things but place your shot correctly and my experience is that they will drop.

Yep, I only generally carry a dozen or so game kings in the back of the ammo box when going varminting.. Ya never know what your gonna come accros and if one can be loaded quick enough and a shot well placed they will do the job..

If I was to convert to a .20 prac Id like to be able to have a similar load in the back of the box, but If not it just means carring a second rifle in the ute..

I dont know how your RCBS dies would go either. The seater die would work and if you could get internals for the neck and FL die then you might be right but the type S reddings are the best for it.
