Congratulations to Craig Whittleton for his great performance in Melbourne over the Easter weekend and induction into the HOF. No 25 ? i believe. Great to see another West Aussie doing good. Now that you have your HOF jacket, how long will it be before you bin the SR rifle along with the F Open barrel and get into some serious Fly, 600 and 1K? Jeff and i look every month in the journal to see if you or Steve are offering a shoot.
Also congatulations are in order for Barry Duncan for his world record shoot in RBA just recently. Well done mate, you have put a lot of time and money into the sport. Hope to see you and Georgina at the Hunter Nationals in Springsure this September.

It was great to see Craig make it
While congratulating him at Little River on Monday he was telling me he has only attended 3 Nationals and has gained all his points over a 4 year span. I am not 100% certain but I think that is a record in itself
For those who don't understand it, the benchrest hall of fame works on a points system, with points only awarded at the National Championships.
1 point for a yardage win and 2 points for an aggregate win with a total of 10 points required for hall of fame entry.
To benchrest shooters this is a very BIG deal........ once your there your kinda like.... Elvis without the glitter

I first met Craig at Silverdale at his first Nationals in 2002. He had been dragged there by Ray Edwards and Graham Keppe and in his first attempt i think finished third in the 2 Gun. He would undoubtedly be the quickest Hall of Famer that i know of, aswell as possibly the youngest, not that one would notice with all that hair missing. Must be the stress of being a Landscaper, having to take all that money into the bank each day in the bucket of the Bobcat
.
By the way Kenny, how did the 30 BRs go? Did you shoot yours in HV?
