200m RIMFIRE FLY - Pro Cal W/End

Post by arra »

I spoke with Jim McKinley today about a 200m Rimfire Fly shoot on friday afternoon 21st of Sept 2007.

200m Rimfire Fly friday PM
500m Centerfire Fly saturday
1000yd Benchrest sunday

Sound good. A lot of blokes are at the range on friday arvo, If your interested in a rimfire shoot or have a question, bring it up here or send me a pm . I'm going to have another chat with Jim in 2 weeks, so I need to know if it's going to be worth it by then.

Arra,

I am usually their on Friday arvo before a shoot and love to play with the 22 for fun.
Lots of blokes there Friday are doing load work, setting flags and sighting for the 500 and you would have to be sure not to displace them.

cheers

Arra,

Good to see that the rimfire event is on, I reckon the 3 day shoot would be great for those who have to travel....in that it makes it more worthwhile.

I have only shot it at Tamworth a few times but I know the 'fun factor' is huge.

We are going to have to fit in with any other SSAA member that will be there on the day aswell as guys that want to load test or sight in.

You where already on the list :) Re: B/Bay . See if you can get your Dasher in a "Team Clancy" boot for the trip, fly into Canberra and get a lift down to the bay or I can leave my ute at the airport for you to drive down.

Kenny
It is good fun, and harder than c/fire  From memory you shot ok in the c/fire at Tamworth 05, did you shoot rimfire that year. Noted you didnt shoot 06. Smart move

Col,

I have been chasing the short range stuff lately, I keep getting reminded about the Tamworth shoot last year......glad I wasn't there, I hear it nearly killed a far north queenslander....brrrrrrrr

Yeah I shot RF for 3 years straight I think...maybe 4...can't remember, scored a silver medal in 02, that was it I was hooked

Do you remember the bloke who won in 05 ? he has just shot a world record RBA score :D
