Been on leave. Took a few days trip to Tenterfield. The relies had told me to look out for a cat that had been hanging around. Spotted it the first night, and of course didn't have any airgun handy, and therefore used my Savage .17 to give it a tap between the eyes. I recently put a Simmons scope on it and it has made it an awesome package. Makes it one of those rifles that is hard to put down.
Had a good hunt on the mountain. Found plenty of fresh sign from a good mob of pigs but was unable to locate them. Next time. However did nail an old billy with a good set of horns.
Just bought a Webley Patriot in .25. Lewis is currently giving it a tune and once over. Looking forward to getting into the .25 scene. I have previously had a Kodiak in .22 and that was a great gun. Took a bit of getting used to. Can't wait to get this one.
Bit embarrassed to say but in 3 days the only airgun I fired was my R9. Took a few rabbits, but again with the .17. Another cat

Re: Another cat
Great looking gun Whitey, laminated stock with a stainless steel barrel sure is a good look and I bet it made a mess of that cats head.
Let us know how the Patriot turns out. Have heard they can buck a bit but in 25cal it should hit like a brick as well.
Keep the great hunting stories comming.
