CHANGE of date Batemans Bay Fly Shoot

Post by Rinso »

The Batemans Bay Fly shoot dates have been altered due to the circumstances surrounding the sillywet nationals which are now to be held at Batemans Bay.

As a result the Fly shoot will now be held on the 24th and 25th October 2009.

The shoot format will be
Saturday 24th 500m Centrefire
Sunday 25th 200m Rimfire

Presentations will follow the Rimfire match.

No need to pre nominate. Range will be open Friday for practice. Camping at the range is allowed.

This format will allow for travellers to get on the road earlier on Sunday. Remember this is the NSW State Championships as will be a great weekend as always.

Please tell other competitiors about this change of date.

I am hoping that Shane will have the girls Bruno ready for test a flight for the 200m, a new barrel and trued, there's no reason why it shouldn't perform and most surprisingly the factory Remington barrel is stabilising the 107 Sierra Match Kings.

Well, not to sure about that, they seem to group tighter out at 200 then what they do at 100 and I've got them whizzing at 3450 fps fueled by Vihta Vuori N560. I need to either get down to Malabar or Canberra for a test at 500, however, I am pretty confident that they will perform.
