New Guy

Post by Gavin M »

Hi everyone my name is Gavin and I live at Coffs Harbour and have been back into air rifles for about a year now after having them as a kid and I am totally addicted.
I have just purchased a Weihrauch 100T in 22cal and love it.
A real pleasure to use in every way.
Gavin

Thanks for the welcome Gigitt and Damien.
I have mainly been using H&H FTT'S and JSB Exact's but today I tried some Beeman crow magnum's and they worked really well.So I will have to get some 18.2 JSB'S as they are the same weight as the Crow magnum's.Should be good.

Nice rig Gavin...If you're ever involved in a freak accident where you loose all your fingers,I'll come & shoot it for ya!
No trouble at all! ...& I'll even let you watch.Hope you've plenty of slugs cause I've only a few thousand .22 RWS super domes & they won't last long!
Cheers Mort

Now I've got ya.!!
We have a shoot here at casino every wednesday morn at 8am,it's nothing formal just a bring and shoot and there is always an airgun or two on the line, they usually shoot till around 11 or a bit longer or shorter depends who wants to keep shootin.
If you are doing nothing one day ,come up for a shot, this applies to anyone who wants to come along.

Next time I take some time of I will take you up on that offer for sure.
I always enjoy a visit back up there after spending my childhood growing up in Lismore...Glad I'm not there at the moment with the floods I was there in the 74 flood.
How are things in Casino?

Things are good now ,water is starting to run away.
There's still a few areas that are isolated and these should have access in the next day or two.
How are you charging that rifle of yours.??

We have a big dive shop in Coffs open 7 days and they sold me a used 11 LTR scuba tank.
They also got me the adapter. Pirtek fitted the hose.
I have the quick fill model 10-20 seconds from start to finish and she's all done..To easy.

Is that the dive shop down Jetty.??
I went to that shop once and they would not fill my tank.
Is that a 232bar tank?
It normally only takes the same amount of time to top up most tanks, my theoben and steyr anyway.

thanks for the offer Gavin,
I shoot a.22 cal HW97.I bought it of Lewis a couple of years ago.
My mate & I spend many afternoons on the Orara at Nana Glen shooting rabbits
pigeons or anything else feral that sits in front of the cross hairs.
I'd have to wear a mask & gloves to shoot your air gun because I know shooting
PCPs is very infectious....just look at poor N/H, he's a carrier... tested PCP positive
I've lost count of how many he owns now!
cheers Mort
