The .25" shoots very accurately with H&N Baracuda 32g pellets. Just as accurately as my .22" Hornet but with an iron fist. Hehehehehe.

The problem with PCPs can sometimes be all the tackle that has to go with them. Once you start there is no going back.

A good HW underlever delivers excellent accuracy and more than enough power for rabbits and general vermin.

This is my FAC BSA Super 10. It has had hard use over the last 10 years but still outshoots me. I have upgraded it over the years the latest bing a MKIII walnut stock chosen for the shape, style and lighter weight over the beech original. It shoots .22" JSB pellets with excellent accuracy at 875fps. That will do for me. Hehehehehe. El C.

This is my MFR in .22 with a new stock and a guille suit but mostly standard.

Used for pest control and hunting until the HW80 .25 is paid off (thanks again Lewis)!!!

The above picture is of my MFR as it arrived from Lewis (as a comparison)

That looks nice.

How was that finish on the stock achieved. It looks just like high tech carbonfibre that we see on some silencers here, legal in the UK I might add.

The stock was actually carved from a very straight grained peice of Tasmanian Oak. I simply applied spray putty and then painted it. The grip I did by taping the gun, then removing the areas for the grip. I then sprayed adhesive on those areas and sprinkled sand through a sieve while the glue was wet. When the glue dries I rubbed off the loose sand and then painted over the whole thing. Voila!! A non slip-hard-wearing grip!!

OK Now I am confused?!

I thought silencers were illegal in Australia! So how come both the MFR and El Caro`s AR have both got Bull Barrels fitted?! (both cracking looking Rifles BTW

)

The reason I ask this is; I`ve got Webley Raider 10 that I `Really` do want to ship to Aus when I emigrate and I was put off because I was told "Anything that even looked like a Silencer"

would be stopped by customs!??????

Anything that does look like a silencer will be stopped.All the MFR's I import have barrel covers that stop with the barrel.
Think very carefully before you bring your beloved airguns in over here!
