Pavel at JSB tells me that the .22 extra heavy Wizard test run of pellets will be coming off the machine sometime in the next week or so.. I should be testing them by the end of May .... you heard it here first . That should just about complete the .22 cal line for us hunters and paper punchers.
The word is that the .25 cal will follow in the not too distant future.......... I'm sure Lewis will be in the forefront to receive the first production line of both later in the year. It takes time to get the cogs turning but JSB have been "on target" for some years now.
We have the best .177s in three weights; the best .20; the best .22s in three weights and this will make four; and if we are patient it won't be too long and one, perhaps two weights of the .25 cal will be with the "big end" of town. Hopefully they will match or shade the good Baracuda that has been around since the days when that anaesthetic ether gun was destroying normal pellets. ......... I'm looking forward to the next few months ... are you? .... Kind regards, Yrrah .............

Thanks for a bit more good news Harry! In my book the new "Wizard" will really complete the set on the heavy end of the .22 pellet line up. The boys at JSB do not let the grass grow under their feet on a new project do they. Ogre will definitely be a happy guy later this year when the .25 speaks with more authority.
cheers Ray.

Thanks P! We'll see how it pans out. I might be spending a little time down your way as the year progresses.... And I'm still waiting on john Bowkett to get the time to sort that .25 barrel and receiver for my Hornet.............Kind regards, Harry.ogre6br wrote:I spoke to my LGD on Friday about sending my .25 cal interstate "on loan" and he said- yep we can arrange that

I'll leave that for when they arrive and I get to do some tests. The production line is sometimes a little different in these things which is understandable. I just hope a small package gets here without too much damage ........ Kind regards, Harry.fenring wrote:What shape are these puppies?
