Just thought I would put a piccy of the finished product with my Tikka screwed in
Took it out on the weekend and did some load testing with a couple of different projectiles. I think I have found the something worth trying in a couple of weeks when we shoot the local short range club match but still need to do a bit of work. I am going to try a couple of different powders and see how I go.
The rifle itself worked perfectly on the bags and handled very nicely.
Trev once you have used a stock fitted with a keel and the RIGHT rear bag, you will never go back. Once you have used a stock with a keel and an offset fore end, you will sell all the other stocks you own. Unless you are using a LH action, then the offset is not for you, but the keel is still of huge benefit. Don't see this as a sales pitch, see it as from someone who has tried a lot of different configurations.
