Came home yesterday March 12th Curan.
Had six weeks away 5 in Tassie fly fishing and sight seeing. Two mates and wives; the six of us ate beautiful trout ( mostly wild browns 2 to 3 pounds ) from go to whoa. We camped in our three diesel VW campers and trailed two boats so could travel up the rivers into the wild country and fish the lakes at will. Highly recommended.
Best flies: shaving brush, various duns and emergers, red tag, wooly buggers, seal fur nymphs.
Headed for the farm at Kentucky South next Wed. Looking forward to some air rifle shooting now.
No word on the .25 JSBs yet Ogre but will let you know when something happens. Again thanks for the offer of your rifle for testing but I have a spare .25 cal barrel and receiver etc. coming from John Bowkett in UK to put on the .22 JB OZ 1 Hornet so won't need the loan. It should do near 50 fpe and get 20 shots from its extended, though still small, reservoir ( now approx 165 cc ).
Kind regards to all, Harry.
Home from Tassie Walkabout, now for some shooting.

Glad you are back safe and sound. The good old red tag, what a fly, always was one to try in the Snowys .

The adventurer returns!
Glad to hear you enjoyed the trip Harry. I'm starting to get a bit envious of all these adventures!
I'll look forward to reading about your future exploits with the .20, although I'm hoping to hear a bit more about your advances with the FWB as well.
welcome back,
curan.
