I have a Remington 3 lever conversion trigger I bought second hand, it is light but has a mile of creep, how do I adjust this out.
Any suggestions on where to get a reasonably priced Jewel these days, Larry Scott doesnt export any more.
3 Lever trigger
Re: 3 Lever trigger
Howdy 270.
There are two screws to the rear of the trigger housing, the bottom one is the spring tension, the top one is the creep adjustment. Clockwise is less creep, anti is more creep. Check to see if the locking grub srews are in place, ie two grub screws in the same hole where the outer one locks the inner one. This was common on later model 700 triggers, but not the earlier ones. If it is the old style single grub screw and it is a little loose where it could wind itself out over time, seal it with something like thread locker (Loctite) or just some finger nail varnish, preferably pink
I was told yesterday that PVM has Jewell's, but i don't know what the price is.

Re: 3 Lever trigger
Thanks Tony.
Jeff, that is what I would like to do but $450(Procal) is out of reach at the moment.
