Brought this over from Redmist shooting to its new home.
I saw a rifle with a barrel as big as this at frank oreilly's in may with a big orange synthetic stock.

No a Pop Gun... your probably too young to have seen this as they were around when I was little but then dissapeard when they became unsavory. Basically a pop gun was like a plastic very very weak air rifle that had a cork tied to the barrel. you would put the cork in the barrel and fire the toy and it would go "pop" it was more fun when the string was broke or it was CUT :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Ohh yeah I remember those. My mum tossed mine out cause I cut the cord off and was jamming handfuls of small rocks in the cup. :D

kjd I used to have a few pop guns had lots of fun, but i noticed you couldnt get toy guns after port arthur :( i remember i had this leveraction gun that you fed lil plastic cases into then fired , then pulled your lever down and the case ejected :lol:


btw i was making fun of 243s lol musta got a bit mixed up

bit sad really no more pop guns around they were lots a fun! Some might say pope guns are as usefull as a pop gun........some might :lol:

I can feel a 243 war coming on!!!!! I mean after all, it is a glorified varmint cartridge!!!! :twisted:

I remember on some other site a while back some bloke saying that he was guna down a buff with his 243!!!! I havent seen him pop up for awhile but I recon thats cause he's been trampled by some pissed off buff.....

Talk about death wish!!!!
