Okay so here we go
Two Targets Novice and Marksman
2 shots at each target(bull) which should make 60 shots in total.
Distance 10 meters (if you only have 9 then go for it still, its more about fun)
All shots inside the Orange score 1 point (shot just has to touch the white on the inside of the orange doesn't have to be fully in the white)
Any Hits of the Black Bull score 2 points
No points if shot only touches orange or outside of the orange.
Any Calibre
Any Type Air Rifle (PCP, Underlever, break barrel etc)
3 Shooting Positions for each 60 shots. (don't shoot half standing and half bench)
Offhand (Standing) - no post rest or leaning back against wall etc
Sitting/Kneeling - any sitting or kneeling position but no post rest or wall to lean on again
Bench - Seated bench, no mechanical front rests or rear bags, rest should be pack, bean bag, sleeping bag etc
Okay so if your keen you could shoot Novice and Challenge from all rests and put 360 shots down range.
Or just one position and one Target class.
Be honest with yourself and just post up the Score below I don't want to be scoring targets so to speak, post up your pics if you have a ripper of a target result if you want to brag though to make us all
IF it proves popular maybe we can get admin to put this in a Sticky in this section and we can just start a new results topic each week/fornight. If admin don't want this in here please let me know and will try and host it elsewhere.

Nice going Ray!, looks like a respectable score to me. I will try and do it myself in the next few days.

Well looks like Ray takes out the first attempt at the challenge, I sneaked in a shot last night for pretty ordinary score but it is harder than it looks. Shot with the R9 .20 with H&N FTT pellets indoors. Last day guys so let see if anyone else out there has a go.

Re: Weekly Airgun Challenge wk ending 9th March
Seems that way Ray
On another note, after shooting this I was thinking there is no way I could shoot a competetive score on the marksman target offhand maybe I'm just crap was thinking maybe we should change it to be Novice becomes offhand and sitting and the marksman is of the bench.
I found it a great test, its weird I know the R9 will punch them in pretty well the same hole all day at 10 if I can do my bit but when you have to move from dot to dot it does make a big difference. Also if you are in the orange or inside it for every shot that is 60 shots less than an inch. It can only help skills.

Re: Weekly Airgun Challenge wk ending 9th March
Yeah Ryan practice always helps!
For you guys interested in participating and a better and more comfortable chance at a good score.
Other than the normal "Rested" shooting position for your 1st(Marksman) target, try using the field target positions e.g. kneeling elbow rested on one knee and the full sit down on a bag for the other 2(Novice) targets. It will definitely help your scores.
Give it a whack you might have fun!
