Contact Peter Van Muers at Pro Cal Trading to book a seat .. cost for the day would be around $20-30 entry.
Whats a good group ... 1 inch but depending on the weather anything up to 10 inches.

cheers

hello Rinso glad to see you refere to the weather being a factor in the score what sort of weather will i expect to encounter at the fly shoot -- what was it like last year or the year before that ? -- shooters from up here (Qld) usually go to a shoot in shorts and tee-shirts ( ask Shane and Jugs ) and would shoot in thongs if permitted - we dont own a lot of cold gear ,what will i need ? regards John Mc :rifle:

Well I am sticking it on the calendar and will be bringing the Clancy 6BR along. Need some practice over the distance before I show up on the day though. I don't want to look like a complete tool.

I'll ring PVM and book my spot and see you guys there.

Cheers

Well trev, as long as I am not alone, it's fine by me.
I am going away to a property this coming weekend and I'll measure out 500 metres for a practice. Glad I bought that Sinclair rest too!

Cheers

Hello Jugs looks like this is your home FLY range -- you may be able to help me -- can you camp overnight at the range ? what facilities are available ? -- do you remember the old bloke who shot the 75 year old 98 Mauser at the Peter Short Shoot in townsville THATS ME i have descided to come and see how the other half shoot i will be in victoria during may - but not bringing the old mauser it has been upgraded with a 7500 Lawton in 6.5 x 47 L and it shoots much better if i do my job    regards John Mc :rifle:

John,

I don't believe you are able to camp at the range, but there are caravan parks etc reasonably close by. If you look up Little River or Werribee for starters you would only be 10-15min away.

We also hold a 200m Rimfire Fly on the Sunday if you happen to have the RF with you.
