The Rules -

The idea is to make it a varminting type postal competition

Rules - I suppose there has to be some guidelines!

All targets must be shot concurrantly (at the one time - no picking best targets and mix & matching)

Ranges - 100m rabbit, 200m cat, 300m fox

One rifle to be used at all distances - any caliber OK

Five shots at each target.
Positions - Offhand
Sitting
Standing with rest (can be tree, post etc)
Resting (can be bench, bonnet, quad handlebars, 4WD window rest)
Prone using - bipods, backpack, jumper or anything else normally carried in the field.

The how to -

Anyone and everyone that wants to have a crack at this fun shooting comp is welcome.

1. Register your intentions on this new thread "AV Field Shooting Competion"
2. Send me a pm with your mailing address
3. I will photocopy and send you - one each - rabbit, cat, and fox target
I will include my return address.
4. Get your gun and have a shot/s
You will have one month to complete the shoot.
5. Send results back to me with a few extra stamps to cover my postage.

I'm trying to keep the process as simple as possible for you guys as well as me.

Stewie I cant shoot offhand so I rarely do. I'm not the most competetive shooter but dont fancy entering when I KNOW I have no chance.

There, does that sound like a good whinge?

FFS I better get you to send me a target, just made myself sick.

C'mon you other girls

Stewie,

This sounds like it will be a heap of fun.

Sounds like a job for the 6mm 284 and the new Night force.
