Electronic powder measure

Hi all, I'm chasing info on electronic powder throwersso I thought I'd post a thread not sure whether this has been done to death so I apologise. I'm keen to use on to cut down reloading time but am concerned about accuracy of the measure, as with most of you I use a powder thrower just under charge and then trickle on while on the scales so I believe I can get very consistant loads. The use of the loads are primarily 1kbr, F Class and a hint of fly. I'd appreciate some direction as to whether this will be a wise purchase or not. Thank you.

I have a Lyman DPSII mate. No worries at all for accuracy, it is great, at least as good as I can trickle up a load manually. Easy to check anyway as the scale reads off the weight of every charge. Makes reloading a pleasure by taking out the slow & boring bit.

Thanks for your reply, I read an article about the DPSIII and it seems they just slightly improved on an already good product. From what I gather they (rcbs and lyman) are accurate however the distinguishing factor is the length of time they take to a) start up and b) measure the load. However, I figure I can keep myself busy seating projectiles while it measures.

Have you got the upgrade kit in yours? If so how much faster would it be?
I have the DPSII as well and find it very good for 30grain runs but gets a bit slow when up around 70-80grain jobs.

Been thinking about upgrading it but it is not a priority at the moment, happy with the way it works - if anything I will probably get the accessory software that stores loads of loads.

No worries, it was about $45 a couple of months ago from QGE so i will have to get one and give it a go.
