Thats the Brookes kit, I have what is known as the Yodave kit which is basically the same but haven't installed it yet. Check out rimfire central and search for yodave under cz and you will find info. Either kit makes a big difference from what I have read. Might try and install mine over the week or weekend.

I have the brookes kit. Shane put it in for me cos I'm a clutz. Took him a couple of minutes. I used the lightest spring. The trigger is light and crisp BUT I have had 2 slam fires which I have put down to the trigger. I havent got too concerned as the rifle is not chambered unless it is pointed at game and if not fired it is unloaded with the bolt closed on an empty chamber while hunting. Next time I think of something to get done to it I will get Shane to have a look but if your serious about the best trigger for your CZ get a b709 and go to the rifle basix website

Trev do you know what shim was used as well? this is one of the be sure to check first, sure Shane did but the next spring or shim up would prob fix it.

Lots of discussion on them on the rimfirecentral site.

I had Bob Taylor Gunsmithing work mine over. Cost me $35.00 for a real crisp 800gram let off trigger. I looked into the other options out there, but I heard too many bad stories about them so I decided to let the professionals do the job for me. :D The father in law had a well known smith work his model 1 trigger over. The result was a very nice trigger. However, if the safety catch was used, the cartridge would fire when it was released without any pressure on the trigger. It's now on it's way to Bob Taylor to get done properly.
