Took a while.

Post by chris.tyne »

But I finally got one....................Yep a screamer patch, got it a the rimfire state champs at dairyville.I know that I will most likely sound like a wanker but I was quite proud when they told me that I was going to get a patch, not that I tried any harder or anything as I want every group to be a small one, I have shot dots for groups when practicing but never at a registered comp, anyway here is a picture......................................might be a while before I get another one.

Well done Chris!!!!!
You should be proud, they are some small groups.
Sometimes it comes together on the day and everything goes right,
I just wish it happened more often.

Yeah, well done Chris.

Any group under .199 at 50m with a rimfire is a good one!

Cheers

Good one Chris.

What are the requirements for that award and did you have to send that off to Max Coady?

G'day Sean,

Mate the requirement is @ 50mtr-0.199 or less and @ 100mtr-0.399 or less for the rimfire.
The target is sent to Max Coady with the required info and the target and patch are send back to you.
That targetwas my first for the day on the saturday and only just scraped in by 2thou  ,next one was a .266 and rest well you could near double that!!!!  .
Sean are you and Leanne going to Seaham next weekend??

Regards Chris.

Chris,

No, unfortunately we will not be getting up to Newey for the Hunter class (I have to get my hours up at work-I have had a bit of time off lately and have to get the finances in order to pay for Xmas and vehicle registration etc, all the bills come in this time of year).

But I am certain that you will do well.

Regards

Sean.
