Bipod?

Can anyone reccomend a good bipod for an air rifle? I can only use barrel mounted ones because I only shoot springers.

Rockmount or Harris swivel bipod mate but I don't know if using a bipod will alter your POI ensure that the bipod's legs fold forward so it doesn't affect it as much!! Cheers

I don't think it will work too well on a springer .

Mounting a bipod on a springer? Welllllll, if it were me, I would mount the bipod on the solid wooden part of the stock back towards the trigger. You may have to mount the bipod back-to-front (they usually mount with the legs folding forward) so that you can cock the gun. This way you will be supporting the gun in about the same place as you would if you were shooting off-hand.
Harris are the top of the line, "Shooter's Ridge" are a good copy and somewhat cheaper. You will probably have to install a sling swivel stud of some sort into the stock to fix the bipod onto but just which stud depends on timber thickness etc.
Good luck,
Dennis.

Hey mate i just did the same thing to my springer and yer i had to mount it backward. Used a harris only cos i all ready had one and i can take it on and off. I got a sling screw thing from my lgs but had to cut it down with a hacksaw because the timber wasnt thick enough. Mine has ajustable legs and the screw thing to lock the legs hits the stock when you fold it down so i got a couple of thoes round felt stickers and put that on the head of the screw and its all good. It didn't change the poa on my rifle. If u need any help give us a yell. Mitch
