well the dies are off to Shane. Since no one wanted to buy my wooden stock I can have this rifle shooting soon and it will go back when the camo pattern HS stock arrives.
So look out for the JAB 20! Thanks Missed.

I thought the rule was that the name on the barrel was the name on the reamer plus the variation i.e. "short 0.???"
If you have a reamer made to your dimension you can put what ever name on it.

who said there were rules? PPC shortened a little has a different name, is that only cos a new reamer is used.
I will ask Shane to stamp JAB 20 on the barrel anyway, if it shoots great, if it doesnt, oh well!

Trevort,
I always figured if you can't fire it safely in any other chamber ... you have naming rights. If you can fire it safely ... well then its really an 'Improved'.
On the naming rights ... adjusting shoulder angle 2deg and calling it something different is just being stupid ... necking up an existing case to a hitherto undone calibre is fine though and I've done that with the 358CRG even though its really a 35/300RCM or 300RCM/35 in the 'English style'. Reamer and headspace guages due late November.
JAB20 hey?! You small bore nuts are almost as bad as us bigbore nuts
Cheers...

Trevort,
Con, Richard, Greg ... original aint it?
Realistically, we'll be the only ones with barrels stamped as such ... any 'smith anywhere else would mark is as a 35/300RCM.
Cheers...
