I've made blue clouds and some odd shaped holes on the target, with 50 or 55gn (can't recall which) Vmax in a 1:10 22-250AI. Back of the target looked like airbrush dark grey around the bullet hole.

I could only guess it would be the 50gr one mate.
I loaded up some 50 and 55gr taipans friday night and tested them saturday morning. The 55gr ones shot fairly well but the 50's I couldnt seat anywhere near the lands so i got seated them as far as I thought would be enough to hold them securely and not get knocked around when feeding off the magazine. They opened up to about the 2 inch mark.
One thing i did notice is that my pet loads are not shooting well anymore either. I couldnt get anything better than an inch at best, with the occasional flier. Accuracy is really getting average now with it.
