the 18.1 grain .22 JSB Exacts a sample of which I tested for the factory earlier this year.
They go into production in two weeks time and will be released at a target date of mid August.
Email from Pavel and Josef:

" Dear Harry,
Many thanks for your e-mail.
Yes, it is still a realistic date and you can release the information on your forums. We should start the full production of the 18.1 gr. Exact pellets in two weeks so the first pellets should be available in mid August…. " end quote.
Lewis will get some of the first shipped out.
Kind regards, Harry.

Hi stillair1,
As always when something new is introduced by a maker,in this case the new JSB 18.1 Exact pellets, someone says its already been done.
case in point these two brands of pellets(Pic attached)
These two makes of pellet are said to be 18 grain versions. the question is, are the JSB,s pictured that weight? If so what is the difference between the new JSB Heavies and the JSB,s in the pic which it is claimed are 18 grain pellets as well.
So stillair as you are in the right neck of the woods to do a little research on the JSB pellets in the pic would you kindly add your comments if you are able.
Cheers,Ray.

Hi Ray
The bisley mags weigh around 21 gn and are a rebadged variation of the barracuda/ kodiak made by H&N.
I will certainly be keeping an eye out for the 18gn jsb. I will ask Tony Belas at the MGF in mid september to see what he knows as Daystate have a tie up with Jsb. Hopefully they won't take as long to get here as the heavy .177'S which had been in the States for two years before we got a sniff.
Still got to see how a man in cambridge is doing first.
Regards Neil

Hi Neil,
Thanks for the prompt comeback on this enquiry. I thought that the Bisleys were a heavier pellet, and the JSB Tin in the pic looks like the 15.9 Exacts tin to me.
I would assume that JSB would make a slight change in package print colour, labelling etc when the new 18,s are released for sale.
Methinks we may have a better access run against the yanks this time as prompting for these pellets to be produced was made by a business contact here in OZ.
The old story,it pays to know your supplier very well.
By the way in reference to your Cambridge friend, it strikes me that he may have had some input
with the new FX line up, there are some familiar design features there.
Its all good mate.
Cheers RAY.

Hi Ray
Your right on the FX front, Ben has spent a lot of time with Fredrick Axeleson developing and tweaking the FX series.
I'm currently using the FX badged brand of 15.9gn jsb's and they are a very good die, allowing me to reach out to those long rabbits Yrrah style.

Good stuff Neil,
We will be able to do that with a little more thump when the 18.1,s arrive too.
Cheers, Ray
