Harry,
After what seems a non committal reply to your polite communication. It strikes me that it is about time that these publishers took a small leap or maybe a big one of faith into the real world of Airguns and devote a page a month at least to cover all the areas of Sport/Hunting and Target shooting in all its established and hopefully emerging (e.g. Field Target)forms.
The participation of the more experienced AG shooters of both the formal target shooters and the sporting target/hunting airgunners would no doubt be achieved and this should definitely attract both readership and advertising to benefit all.
I feel sure that there is a wealth of info and stories out there from people that have a passion for the modern airgun in all its forms.
Or am I just blowin' in the wind as usual?
cheers,
Ray. :hunting:

What is the situation with the NRA? Never heard of them down here in OZ, I thought they were a UK and USA based group.
Dennis.
Hi Dennis,

I belong to the local Murwillumbah Rifle Club & they are affiliated with the NRA which are Brisbane based but probably connected with the NRA in the States. I don't know too much about them really, but was required to join to shoot at the local range. I'm sure if you Google NRA + Australia you will get a bit more info.

After more than 10 years as a SSAA member and never having a SSAA range near me I could use, as well as their rubbish reviews and arrogant attitiude in refusing to respond to constructive criticism, I thought it was time to give them the flick.

I may rejoin in the future if they ever get their act together, but I reckon they are far too obsessed with selling their "merchandise" than providing honest equipment reviews.

cheers
