Re: loads for .222rem
I use a few loads,
25 grains of W748 behind a 40 grain Bell proj ( The ones made from .22 cases, yes they shoot well)
25 grains Reloader 7 with 35 grain V-MAX, or a 30 grain Bell this is a HOT one! Start lower and work up.
These tear rabbits up and are accurate in my rifle. I tried some Barnes Varmint Grenades but they need more load development.

Also Try the Nosler BT 40gr very slippery proj.
Re: loads for .222rem
My favourite alround load is 25gr of W748 pushing a 52gr HPBT, but 2207 has worked pretty good for me toopushing 40gr Vmaxs upto 50gr BKs, and as a powder easier to find than 748.
Good luck and have fun.

Re: loads for .222rem
I found 19gr of 2207 with 50gr Remington hp's effective in my 222 rimmed martini, these could be hotter in the rimless version, also same load with 50gr nosler shots, 19.5 and 20 gr with 40gr Noslers were the ticket but only had enough to try so need to pick some more up.
BB if you want to try the Nosler shots or the Remington Hp's I can spare some and send them your way, there not the flattest shooting but the Remington's seem solidly made and were accurate. If you want Flat shooting I think the 40gr Nosler BT has a BC of .221 which is more than the shots or Remington's I have and only .010 or so behind the 50gr BT and Vmax's so the 40's will nail any of the small critters for varminting
