Finally some pics of the old girl. Took her out this arvo, couldnt be happier with the way she shoots at a 100yd (they are 1" squares).

You've gotta love a .303, even if it has been bubba'd.

This one was put together out of parts that were laying around the LGS shelves, so she has been resurrected you could say .Herbs wrote:even if it has been bubba'd.

Ok, I'll accept that one. A full wood No 1 MkIII is IMO one of the most beautiful rifles ever. I'm borrowing a mates Lithgow this Sunday for a Combined services shoot until I get my own, which will be soon.

I like what you have done with that old 303 mate if you built it from parts!
Now get out there on a motorbike and chase some pigs down with it!
What type of front sight is on it? It does not look like any military sight I have seen for them.

Good eye for detail mate. What its off i have no idea, picked it up out of a box of bits n pieces at Orange gun show for a whole dollar, he even gave me a receipt for it . Needs to be fitted a bit better which i will do, stops the front sight getting hooked on stuff well.Mevo2230 wrote:What type of front sight is on it?
