Dr Stuz .
I have culled roos with the 55 grainers . No problem with head shots but not in the same class as heavier 70 - 87 gn projectiles in the event of a low head shot . They lack penetration .
You'll do OK with your .243 . We'd all be shooting .204 or .223 if some here got their way .
