I like the idea of being on that detail.... Can you guess why??
Well, when I am finished shooting my target.. with those poor inocent low BC 107's... I can look down my scope and see both the targets to left and right.. and think to myself.... what a waste of powder and weight in projectiles those poor buggers!
Please list what class and caliber for
Tony
Eric
Bob L
I just need to know how any more shots I can get out of my rifle with the same amount of powder!
At Canberra, I was lucky enough to be on a detail.. with a 7mmSTW on my right.. and 300Yogi on the left... yes my crosshairs did move... but I think it moved the projectiles into the group HA! Honestly, I did not even know they were shooting.. zoned in on what I was doing! (I also wear ear plugs and ear muffs)
Trophy for most travelled... one of these pricks will come from Melbourne, so I wont get it.. unfair.... What will the trophy look like? Old trailer spare quickgripped to a plank of wood sounds alright?
Cheers
AI
PS. all you big caliber noisy baboons can go on the same detail.. and leave us lightgun small calibers in serenity.....

AI, great to see you thinking of coming up to Redneck land. Remember to pack the bib and brace overalls so you can fit right on in on Saturday nights square dance held at JRs farm.
I will be shooting the Redneck in HG and the 7/9.3x62 in LG. Eric will be on the same 7/9.3x62 in his LG. And Bobby L will be using the 30/284.
You should be able to run your little runt on the fumes of them bigguns
Tony Z.

You now how the runt ends up.. being the biggest and toughest out of the litter... well sometimes...
I will need another suitcase... welding jacket, face mask, bib, brace overalls... square dances are my favourite too! I cant wait!
I am still in the process of getting the time off work to go.. but leave it with me. Should be able to work something out!
7X62 sounds interesting... what velocity you getting with the 175's?
Cheers

Hi Blackpete
I was in Halls today buying some more projies and Dave told me he has recently taken delivery of 5 remingtons in 338 Lap magnum - even let me hold one - however three are already sold but if you are quick you may be able to buy yourself one
Hey Albow,
i see your strategy now , your trying to get me killed by my wife so as to reduce the competition. [/quote]

Re: 1000yds in Jumpin July!
We southerners haven't had enough practice, so cant just cover our penile protrusions with our own mouths. Thanks for being so thoughtful JR.a.JR wrote:Stop Press.
Townsville has added another incentive for the travelling competitiors..
All southeners shooting 6MMs and 6.5s will be issued with a FREE cap as in the pic ..
The blue part is there to protect the penile protrusions from the forhead from our strong sunlight in the north ..It is advised that the ones with the larger appendages(attention AI) also include an spf 30 sunscreen as the blue bit may not cover the whole thing ..See you there in JULY..JR..Jeff Rogers
