Leeton shoot

Post by Rinso »

Well the dates draw nearer so now to the facts:

19th April, 200m rimfire fly. Prizes- 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

20th April, 300m centrefire. Prizes- 1st, 2nd and 3rd in benchrest class

1st, 2nd and 3rd in hunter/varmint class.

9.00am sharp, starts both days.

Entry fee, $20 for one day or $25 covers two days.

Standard fly shoot rules apply.

So who is going ??? Lets not have any excuses either it will be a great 2 days.

cheers

Guys I would love to make it, but unless the rimfire and centrefire days get swapped around I can not.

I can make the Saturday, but not the Sunday!

Them's the brakes!

Cheers

Ogre,

5 scoring shots on a mothball target. Each shot scores points based on best edge in the mothball.
Group size is measured at its largest point and points allocated on a scale of
-1" = 10
1-2" = 9
2-3" = 8
etc till
9-10" = 1

Bullets do not have to be in the scoring mothball to count in group but must be on the target.
Batemans 2007 5.JPG
Look at attached photo ie
4 x 10's
1 x 6
8 points for group (measured over 2" but under 3")
Total 54.2
Fly hits are .1 but do not accumulate ie 11 x .1= .11 not 1.1

cheers

Hair bear is supposed to be going and I offered him a lift. My son may be going too. If we can get all our gear in my tiny boot then your welcome but there were only two of us off to Canberra and the rifles took up the back seat

roof rack???

They are rated to 150 odd kgs I can hide up there-- my 6BR and a box of re-loads wont take up any room. a box of 50 should be fine for the whole shoot-
I'll shoot off a bi-pod and a rear bag- no need for rest etc
I promise I wont take up much room

Rinso, what are the rules in "Hunter/ varmint "class. I have a very accurate 220 Swift that my other nephew ( Sean's brother ) may want to shoot. 300 would be good for me, I can see the targets at that range.

Malcolm,

The rules for the Fly apply to all classes. The Hunter/Varmint class will be determined by Shane as to whats not overly modified.
