BlueBazooka.com - anyone tried them?
At the moment there's not too much difference in price between these guys and Optic zone, I thought I'd give them a try.
Interesting though was their comments on Nioa and Leupold trading practices. Have a read;

Yeh mate, that has been a topic on another forum. Nothing much anyone can do about it though.
Just a thought mate, Jon at the Optic Zone has been doing the right thing by aussie shooters for a long time now - I reckon he has done the hard yards and enough favours for us to support him if you are going to buy from the US. Don't know much about Blue Bazooka, AFAIK they are new kids on the block and specifically targetting Aussies/Kiwis as mail order clients, in short, trying to cash in on a market that Jon has been serving for a long time.
Give them a go if you want, but you can be pretty sure that Jon's aftermarket service, should you have a problem with a scope, will be better than anyone else you deal with in the US.

VX-II 4-12x40 in silver.
Pasted from the email:
Blue Bazooka has cancelled your order. Your credit card was not charged.
* Reason: Other (describe below)
* Comments from Blue Bazooka:"Leupold has cut off our supply for selling directly to Australians. We cannot ship you product at this time. We are very sorry."
Something dodgy is going on me thinks.

Something dodgy is going on from Leupold and Nioa I bet that Nioa pay more to leupy then blue bazooka do and thats why they cannot send leupy's over here. If this happens to the optic zone I will never buy another Leupold again because I don't like price fixing and all this sort of crap!GIJ wrote:VX-II 4-12x40 in silver.

Interesting Really makes you want to buy NIOA products!!!
If you ask me Nioa are in the wrong here and is really doing shooters a disservice so is Leupold by allowing this!
Greedy bastards the pair of them!

Looks like it is happening, I just knew one supplier for most of our shooting products would cost us in the end. No competition!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He charges what he wants!!
Mr NIOA must have a big monopoly in Australia if he can stop a large company like Leupold from supplying another retailer in the US!
I think I will be buying Vortex from now on.
