Bushnell Banners are ok ... best advice buy the best quality scope you can afford.
The extra dollars are worth it in the end as cheap scopes tend to pack it in then you spend the dollars on a better scope anyway, ends costing twice as much.
So yes the banner will do ok but if you can buy better do so ..
Thanks 4 the reply rinso....im confused which scope i should get there are so many
At the moment i have a Olivon tracker 2-7x32 AO on my .22 which is ok tho i find the cross hair a bit to thick on it and i also would like a bit more magnification.....I have about $250 to spend inc post......
Whats going on Rinso, are you quietly admiring my restraint at taking two posts on a thread before recommending the 204?
I looked in on this one and couldn't believe you hadnt slapped him between the eyes with a vortex, now glad to look back again and see there has been no slip in the space time continuum
Yes I would rate that better than the Banner and as I said from the start (trevort) buy the best you can afford .. micheal have you looked at the Leupolds on TOZ how much are they ???? Dont forget to add the cost of good mounts ...
I have the Burris scope you are looking at. It copes very well on my 300wsm and I'm sure your 22 wont put any strain on it.
Email Jon at the optic zone before you order. If you get a good Burris its excellent but Jon reported some time back he was having quite a few returns and Burris seemed to have a quality control problem. Check if this is fixed. Chances are in the high 90s %age wise that you will get a good one anyway. Jon will take a faulty scope back no probs, but you pay postage!
Jon also posted on a new addition to Clearidge range with parallax adjustment down to 25m. I havent checked when its out, but I bought the fixed 10 power elite 3200 for my HMR, only criticism is parallax is set at 100m so makes it harder to shoot groups at 50m but doesnt impinge on hunting accuracy.
The Legend range imo is the best value and most over looked scope on the market, the only real difference between the this and the 3200 3-9 is this has 2% more light transmission and it made from to peaces instead of one which shouldn't be an issue, ive never heard of a scope snapping in half
I have a legend 2-7x32 and i couldn't be happier with it.
