Re: Happy Birthday Gatekeeper25
Thanks Barry. Went to the range this morning to check a couple of loads and get the thermal sighted in. Got a bit of lamb protection to do
Bought a new Thermion since we last spoke. Seems to work ok. The foxes don't like it too much though.

Re: Happy Birthday Gatekeeper25
It's a Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro.
When you really think about it, there's not too much difference between it and the Trail XP50 that I've had for ages. The picture is definitely sharper, which is nice, but I don't find that it 'works' any better than the Trail, I just really wanted the LRF feature. One thing about it actually really annoys me. I've got used to flicking between white hot and black hot and in certain situations find this verry useful. On the Trail there is an external button to do this which makes it very simple and convenient. On the Thermion you have to go into the menu and scroll and click and scroll and click..... A minor thing I know, it just irritates me.
