Ok mate had decided he would recut the checkering
And start a new panel on the side

If I were ever to try it I'd be buying a crap stock off eBay. Did that to teach myself how to do a basic refinish, well worth the $15 for an old stock with a big split in it.
Easiest option for yours is to bog it all up and apply some tactical camo scheme, then sell it.

G'day All,
try using walnut dust and superglue as bog, apparently its very effective and when oiled you wont see the repair.

Well it goes back to it`s owner this week I have some foto`s I m trying to upload but I have a problem
