And it is a keeper i absolutely love this calibre even though so many treat it with such disdain.
And it is definitely a keeper .

These things are built like a tank .
there's a bloke I used to speak to on another forum I think he's in Sydney and is absolutely a Rimfire tragic has more than 30 of them and the majority are anschutz.
When these rifles first came out he had a look at the action and figured that they would knock off anschutz for accuracy bought one sent it down to Tassie to a really good Rimfire Smith down there fitted a maddco Rimfire barrel that is by far the most accurate that he has and it consistently shoots in the high ones and low twos .
Anyway here are 2 pics of the locking lugs and the rear of the action .

Yeah I saw them at the Melb SHOT Expo before they were released and was like "Farrrrk" at the build on them.
Almost as strong as a 77/22.
I've seen two in gun shops now with pretty decent walnut on them. I'm no wood stroker but I was tempted to buy one just to sit beside dad's original Lithgow Model 2.

If it had good wood then I would buy it because the three examples I've seen in my lgs here have been like that crap Turkish walnut they stuck on rifles back in the 80s and early 90s no figure whatsoever.fenring wrote: ↑Sat Aug 07, 2021 9:28 am Yeah I saw them at the Melb SHOT Expo before they were released and was like "Farrrrk" at the build on them.
