Probably best to braze them in.

I wouldn’t go more than 57.0 grains of 2209 (close to max pressure).trevort wrote:Adi doesn’t list it but the inter webs say start with 280 rem starting loads

Depending on barrel length you should get between 2890 and 2950 fps.

Well adi says 49.5 is the max for the 280 rem for 2610 and the 7x64 should be a grain or two lower.
Are you sure you put the right powder and case in?
Standard T3 sporter barrel

There’s 1.1 grain less powder capacity in the .280 than the 7x64 according to quickdak.trevort wrote:Well adi says 49.5 is the max for the 280 rem for 2610 and the 7x64 should be a grain or two lower.

Is ADI load data for actions that aren’t as strong?
The ADI data sounds quite anemic for the .280 Rem. That load you mentioned is only at 39575 psi for a case that is rated to 58740 psi. Speed is estimated at 2581 fps with a 26 inch tube.
I’m assuming your 7x64 is a 22 inch tube.
