With the 50 gn vmax I should be getting around 3650fps.

Not for this one Trev it’s just a Wby thing.
The .220 Weatherby Rocket though will be all about speed (once I get it built).

Looks good Rob.

I didn't realise that the little belted Wby has such a long neck on it, you would think that would have to be a positive for throat life.

To be honest I didn’t either. Should make a difference but it’s not going to be a frequent shooter so throat life shouldn’t be too much of a concern.

Hmmmm, long neck and short throat, could fit in somewhere.

It is one of the Wby line that has always interested me, a bit cost prohibitive, but very nice.

Not that prohibitive really compared to other Weatherby’s. Lol
