Only any good if there is ongoing supply.
No supply = No bloody point.

Well, some of us just happen to be past Taipan customers.
And as such, this is our last chance to top up on a few bullet types we've tested and proven...
As it very much remains to be seen just how much, of the [extensive] former Taipan range, that James B will bring back into production.

This is why I’m torn. I already have a 500 box of Taipan but have yet to load any.
It’s also tempered by another 3 boxes of other brands (plus some misc) which are all a known entity.
Think I’m set for a while.

Might be good for cheap (ish) fire form and running in bullets.

Looks like James has already let the side down. Quote from bulletmaker site;Gadge wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 8:21 pmWell, some of us just happen to be past Taipan customers.

As it very much remains to be seen just how much, of the [extensive] former Taipan range, that James B will bring back into production.
"The not so enterprising guy, James, arrived on the scene without the ability to take it on, the past eighteen months has seen a devastating series of tooling breakages and not many bullets get made. From this point I will continue on, turning the jackets on hand into bullets, more than a million of them at a recent count. There are still problems to overcome with crucial ingredients used 20 years ago not being available today so alternatives need to be found. The economics are very different now, the cost of metho used to be $1 per liter, today it's $5 a liter thanks in part to a high demand for hand sanitisor.
The new production prices have to reflect current costs so will be nowhere near the give-away prices that have been used over the past several years. Since Mar '19 the HBWCs have been up and running, .312" and .314 dia 98 gr and .357" 148 gr. There has been a small run of .277" jacketed bullets followed by a few 303 until the forming die broke. When they are available for delivery they will be added to the price lists."
