I lightly lubed the first few cases by getting a little on my finger tips and rubbing the neck shoulder area. And as the lube wore of my fingers the cases still went thru the die so I just stopped lubing and kept sizing. All 300.
And then noticed they looked like this

The shoulder has been concertina’d in a bit.
And it fired out ok.
But I resized the original 18 cases I fired to use fireformed cases for a ladder test. And a few have come out like this on second firing

The faint line does not go the whole way round and is raised. You can feel it.
So my first reaction is that the cases have stretched when firing out the wrinkle and I’ve over worked them and this is a separation on the way.
But the ring does not go the whole way round, is not on all the cases and the bent paper clip is not hanging up on anything inside the case. What else
Could it be!
