.204 BlitzKings

Post by Cammo »

I was surprised when i was told by Abelas the other day that Federal premiums in .204 39g BlitzKings are no longer imported. My rifle loved these rounds.

I think sierra have probably priced themselves out of the market.
Federal are now offering 100 rd packs in the more popular varmint rounds loaded with V-max, S&B use V-max in their ammo.
Sierras are a great pill but when you start looking at the other similar options available for around half the price its hard to justify the increased cost. It would appear ammo manufacturers might be coming to the same conclusion.

I found. All my 20 cals shot the cheaper vmax as well if not better than the Blitz

For those who argue that the blitz hass a higher BC. The seirra BC is calculated at a launch velocity of 3950 while the vmax is calculated at a 3450 fps launch

This is for the 39 and 40 grainers
