Bruce I’ve used my son in laws howa and it shot fine and was very acceptable to use. I just hated the zasty with a passion.
It’s a dollars thing of course because I’m taking the 20 dasher barrel off a bat sv and I’m gonna put the existing br rifle ‘s barrel onto it. It’s a 6bra. A little round for a little action.

The existing br rifle is on a bat mb action which can handle bigger rounds. The money will be spent
On turning that into a middleweight with a 6.5 or 7mm barrel and putting weight on the stock.

For no other reason than the bat sv is too nice to be a safe queen and should be used. And of course, because I can
