Rifle looks the goods Bruce.
Now this is going to sound odd but hear me out.
Given the accuracy potential and known capability of the 6 BR, the best way to short cut things, save time, money and barrel wear is to find the bullet the barrel likes.
Lapua case with 205M, 30.5 grains of Re15 in a 0.237" bore, or 30.0 grains in a 0.236" bore. A selection of bullets in the 103 to 107 grain range like the Inbreds or Hornady for secant ogive, and SMK and Copperhead for tangent ogive, all set at 10 or 20 thou jump. I like 10 shots for each at atleast 200 yards, but 300 or more if conditions are mild.
In 40 rounds you will find the bullet the barrel likes as opposed to the bullet you like. Then you can fine tune. I find it far more rewarding in a cartridge like this to work with a bullet the barrel has already shown it prefers. Barrels often do not like some bullets for a multitude of reasons, but from my experience, which could be just down to bad luck or bad management, i have yet to find a secant ogive bullet to out perform a tangent ogive bullet for a purely group potential objective. For score potential or hitting steel plate or Bambi, that is a different equation.

Thanks Tony, basically work with what it likes and not force it to suit.
So a projectile that the barrell likes would be more consistant across a range of loads and then fine tune a load to suit it.
Testing doesn't worry me. Means more practice
Missed, the 87gn vmax go ok and cheap.
