Next DIY project

Been mulling over an idea for a few days now and finally started to put the idea to the test

A few photos might give you a hint as to what it will be.

1. A handful of red gum slats

Chose a couple and cut to length/width

Image

Made up a 20mm grid and laminated it

Image

Stuck down and ready to punch marker points

Image

Punching finished and voila, a 2cm grid on my timber

Gotta have a supervisor

Nope, and gotta do something to keep myself occupied in quiet times. :D

Pity about the borer holes, but I reckon I can fill them with sanding dust and wood finish.

Glue all the long strips together and mate a laminated red gum stock

I'm just about buggered with this quiz so I give up. BUT could ya get that bloody doig off that nicely tanned deer skin - please.

But he likes it there, snuggles right down and sleeps most of the time. It is a good skin. :D
