Ruger VT single stage trigger

Post by Sako 22-250 »

I have just received a Rifle Basix single stage trigger to replace the factory 2 stage on my Ruger VT 204

Really like my new Ruger ..but not so much the factory trigger

(have been spoiled by the set and Kicken triggers I have on my other varmint rifles)

Single stage can be set as low as 8oz

Will test it out on next trip to the hills

I found rifle basic triggers reasonably good, I had one on the Ruger 77/17 hummer I had years ago, got one to go onto my old Brno Mod 2 :D , if I ever get around to finishing that project.

There is one in the 22x47 as well and had one in a couple 527. They work

I'll await the field test so I can decide whether to get one for myself. :D

So do the Rifle Basix CZ452 triggers fit the Brno model 2? Might have to look into that approach.

I have a RB on my Mod700 .22-250 and like it.

Not a hundred percent sure Marcus, 99.9 should be close enough, I can't remember when I got it over 5 years ago  what I ordered, but I reckon they will :D

Dave, its a trigger.
You either like/can put up with the one you have or not. Somebody's field test wont change your trigger manipulation.

Tis true but it is an insight nonetheless.

Would be an insight if this was the first rifle basix trigger ever tested. It isn’t. You like crappy two stage jobbies or you don’t. There is nothing to test
