That's a very enthusiastic post there Lewis.

At the cheaper end of the scale, what's a handy type of air rifle to have around the farm?

Thinking of starting the kids on plinking starlings & rats.

Bonus points if they're reasonably accurate! :)

I’m sort of semi retired now

Greenfield and Cox have now joined forces and are made under the same roof to try and contain costs
It’s a rugged business !!

The price the Chinese make a mower for these days(domestic) makes them just about throw away when they need a service. Bought a replacement carby for my whipper snipper cheaper then the gasket kit. Must be bloody hard to keep a buisness above water here.

You’re not wrong Frank!

Never once in 52 years was Greenfield offered any help at all from the govt
Despite visits and hollow promises not even s lie interest Loan

All they did was let grubs like unions and WHS interfere

They let all four local car manufacturers go

The writing was on the wall

Lillien is 8. Hamish is about to be 4.

So it's mostly Lillie :)

The two best new airguns are the Weihrauch HW25L and the HW30S

The 25L is tiny and will get Lillian going for quite s few years until she’s big enough for the 30S

Then Hamish can use the 25L

That’s how it goes

Both are superb all metal German construction built to last forever

Both have auto safeties which is essential to protect fingers

You can but cheaper but they won’t last and there are usually no spares

Hope this helps
